Skjoldehamn

Pattern drawing based on Gjessing.

A "bog-find" that has been Radiocarbon dated to about 995-1029 CE. These appear to be a draw-string design. The "trim" is woven into the material of the leg.

Based on the drawings of the surviving materials and an analysis of other surviving breeches and trousers, I would suggest the following (estimated) design:
